Two Air Force Vets Exploring An #Abandoned Air Force Base in the Desert #abandonedplaces

We explored an abandoned Air Force Base in the desert. We love learning about history but we just don’t see things the same anymore. We now know that the Air Force abandons bases they contaminate. The squadron and Fighter Wing in Massachusetts that poisoned me with lead is gone too. The brand new facility they built just for combat communications is now the home of the U.S. Geological Survey. The Air Force used this state of the art facility for maybe 20 years before and after the base was brac’d* & deemed an EPA superfund site.
