Jennifer and Lee

The first time we went to a Sandals Resort, we were not doing well at all. But we were invited to a friend’s wedding and Jennifer was asked to be in the wedding as a bridesmaid. Despite failing health issues and delayed diagnoses and treatment, we tried to help ourselves both mentally and physically by eating healthy, exercising, going on vacation, and traveling on the regular. After our first trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos, we were hooked on the Caribbean and the Sandals Resorts so we made plans a year later to go to Sandals Negril for our five year anniversary.

Jennifer snorkeled for the first time in Hawaii and fell in love with it. We went to Hawaii with friends about six months after going to Beaches Turks and Caicos for the wedding in 2011. Although Jennifer had a lot of anxiety where snorkeling was concerned for some unknown reason, she fought through the fear and was rewarded for her efforts. Now Jennifer wishes she went snorkeling at Beaches Turks and Caicos too. But we made up for it on this trip to Jamaica and on two more trips, one to Antigua and the other to St. Lucia. We love the Caribbean.
