Finance Committee Member Receives First Menacing Anonymous Letter From Bad Actors in Rumford, Maine (2010)

Jennifer was a volunteer on the Rumford Finance Committee from 2007 to 2010, a Finance Committee that was educated, had common sense, and were not interested in rubber stamping increasing property taxes and budgets in a dying Town dependent on one paper mill and the property taxes of the elderly on fixed incomes.

The anonymous sender had an address that was intentionally not shared with the public, but the Town of Rumford sure would have this address. Jennifer was drugged and r*ped by a military recruiter in Maine. The recruiter was never held accountable for his crimes because he moved to another state making prosecution across state lines more difficult.

This first anonymous letter is interesting given most of the Town employees are affiliated with the local Catholic Church. We believe this church is running this town behind the scenes and it’s a force of darkness no one can fight.

The timing of this letter and two more letters all happened to coincide with Jennifer being falsely charged with a felony alcohol charge in March 2010 while sitting on the Finance Committee. Jennifer called emergency services for Lee who was suicidal after losing custody of his sons because of false allegations from an abusive ex-wife who used the Police Department as a weapon after learning they didn’t like Jennifer. The fact Lee’s ex-wife was able to learn that the Police Department didn’t like Jennifer because they created a “Support the Police” Facebook page speaks volumes to the unprofessionalism and lengths they went to in an effort to destroy Jennifer’s credibility. One of the officers told Jennifer to go “kill yourself like your father did” on-line which was information only the Police Department knew because they investigated the death. Jennifer’s “crime” was encouraging and voting to cut the vacant police officer positions during negotiations.

In 2009-2010, the Finance Committee made the official recommendation to cut two vacant police officer positions of which the police department was not happy about. The police department and fire department used to stand at the back of the room while the Finance Committee was working in an effort to intimidate members of the public who volunteered their time on behalf of the best interests of the community. These Home Rule Law towns try to stop citizen participation because they don’t want anyone FUCKING with their budgets, and we would learn this the hard way. Despite the intimidation tactics employed by those in control of the town, the vote to cut the two vacant police officer positions went to a vote with the citizens in early June 2010, less than two weeks after Jennifer received these letters. The citizens voted to cut the vacant positions.
