New Town Attorney Informs Rumford Leadership They MUST Release the “Aggressive, Intimidating” Police Officer’s 2005 Disciplinary Action Letter to Jennifer Norris; Loses Job (2010)

This photo was posted on Facebook on March 3, 2011, a year after this “aggressive, intimidating” police officer trampled all over our constitutional rights in our own home… and the police department falsely charged Lee and Jennifer with felonies when in fact they both needed treatment; the real criminals got away with everything. Lee was charged with domestic violence against Jennifer based on the word of a bitter, greedy, abusive ex-wife living in another state. Jennifer was charged with furnishing a home for minors to consume after calling emergency services to help Lee with emotional dysregulation and suicidal ideation because he lost custody of his kids due to the false allegations. We both experienced gang bullying from the ex-wife, her co-horts, and the local police department she manipulated as a weapon against two law abiding citizens who were simultaneously being medically retired from the Air Force for disabilities. All bad actors had the same agenda: fuck up our credibility for financial gain. None of these “public servants” gave two fucks about the well being and health of two disabled veterans who volunteered to serve their country. None of these citizens appreciated our sacrifices whatsoever.

Dear Carlo and Stacy,

Based on my review of town manger Steve Eldridge’s letter of December 27, 2005, I conclude that it is a “final, written decision” within the context of 30-A, M.R.S.A. 2702 (1)(A)(5) and must be timely released to the requestor.

The subject letter, in my view, was unnecessarily detailed but, nonetheless, must be timely released.

I have taken into consideration the information brought to my attention as reasons not to require production of the subject letter. I find that information does not apply to these circumstances and that the Maine statute specifically takes into consideration factors which in some circumstances would not justify production. I find that the Maine statute trumps those considerations. Accordingly, I find no basis for refusing production of the letter.

If you have any questions, or care to discuss this matter in more detail, please let me know. Thank you,

Sincerely,

Thomas S. Carey

In the fall of 2009, the Rumford Police Department created a “Support the Police” Facebook page in response to the Finance Committee’s recommendation to cut two vacant police officer positions from the 2010-2011 budget. It quickly turned into a bash Jennifer Norris fest of which Lee’s ex-wife would find out about while she was stalking us to find dirt in an effort to regain custody of the kids and keep those child support checks coming. She didn’t find any dirt. What she found was a common enemy. The police department was bullying Jennifer and the ex-wife used it to her advantage to harm both of us after Lee filed a legal change for child custody with an attorney. We learned real quick this was never going to happen because it negatively impacted this greedy bitch’s monthly income (she’s the kind that doesn’t work). She would have been fine with Lee having custody of the kids as long as we kept paying her child support. She didn’t care about the kids; she cared about money. She spent the remainder of their childhoods turning the two boys against two people who loved both of them with all their hearts.

As a result of the toxic relationship the ex-wife created with our local police department, she was able to convince them that we were the bad people in the scenario, not her; that she needed to be protected from us, not that we needed to be protected from her; and that she needed to protect her children from the “crazy veterans with PTSD” who are also “fakers.” We were not in mental health crisis until she started lying and weaponizing the police department. Both of us ended up in crisis experiencing suicidal ideation because we were not doing well post military and desperately needed treatment. These bad actors could not have chosen a more difficult time in our lives. We pushed through mental and physical health issues for the sake of the country for over fifteen years and the lack of healthcare in the military eventually caught up with both us. No one cared. No one cared about what we did. No one asked us anything about our service or what happened. As a matter of fact, our service in the Air Force was belittled and on top of sacrificing our minds and bodies for the military, people’s dismissiveness was like pouring salt on the wounds.

These people are so sloppy. They left evidence all over the place and we collected quite a bit while living in Stephen King town. We were smart enough to keep our mouths shut until we could bail from this crooked town. We want to make some observations about what we learned where this one crooked cop is concerned. One, Steven Eldridge lost his job shortly after he presented the disciplinary action letter to this cop. He was bought out of a contract; that’s how bad they wanted him gone. Thomas Carey was voted out of the Town Attorney position he held for two years shortly after he allowed this cop’s disciplinary action letter to be released to Jennifer. (Jennifer Kreckel has been the town attorney from 1994 to 2008 and 2010 to present; we picked up the disciplinary letter from her office. The bottom line is she has been the town attorney for decades helping them cover up unethical and illegal shit.) And of course she was a JAG in the Air Force doing the same. Jennifer and Lee who got involved in volunteering for the Town were destroyed with felony charges and a newspaper article that still follows them to this day in an effort to harm their future employment opportunities. And lastly, no one seemed to mind that this aggressive and intimidating police officer was wreaking havoc on a poor community who is vocal about being fearful of the police department. They kept him on the payroll even after he shot a suicidal woman with mental illness brandishing a knife. Everyone was afraid of what he would do next.
